Side-guided
A side-guided window is an outward-opening window. The sash is guided by rails and sliders and can be opened 85-90º. When the window is opened, the sash slides towards the middle. This movement creates an opening on the hinge side, allowing the outside of the window to be cleaned from inside the house.
The sash is hinged to sliding rails mounted on the head and sill.
The most common closing solution is a handle-operated multipoint latch with ventilation option.
