Side-swing
A side-swing window is an outward-opening window in which the sash can be rotated approx. 180º, depending on the size of the sash. The movement of the sash allows the window to be turned and cleaned on both sides from inside the house.
The sash is hinged to sliding rails mounted on the head and sill.
The most common closing solution is a handle-operated multipoint latch with ventilation option.
